Stevon F. Rawlinson saw a patient walking on the railroad track that adjoined the hospital. Seeing an oncoming train, Mr. Rawlinson leapt over a six-foot chain link fence, struggled through barbed wire and scaled an embankment to pull the struggling, mentally ill patient from the path of an oncoming train. Had it not been for Mr. Rawlinson, the patient would surely have perished under the wheels of the on-rushing train.
